Where are we located?
SewSnip.com is an online fabric shop. Our warehouse is located in Midlothian, Virginia. The warehouse location is not open to the public.
We currently have one retail location open to the public, separately located at:
13433 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian, VA 23113.
How much does shipping cost?
We use USPS for all of our shipping. We now offer $6 flat rate shipping for orders under $100 and free shipping for orders over $99.
Do you ship internationally?
We only ship within the United States and military bases overseas.
We hope to ship internationally soon.
I ordered something online. Can I pick it up locally?
No.
We currently do not offer local pickups for orders placed online. All orders placed will be shipped.
I saw something I like on your website. Can I go to the local shop and buy it there?
Not necessarily. Though our retail shop does carry many of the same items we have online, the inventory there is different (plus we stock many items that we don't have on the website).
I am a wholesale customer. Can I visit the shop to view the inventory?
No. As of now, wholesale inventory is different from our inventory at our retail location.
Wait, did you say Wholesale?
Yes! We recently introduced our new wholesale program on a separate website. To learn more, visit:

How do I know if the listing is by the bolt or by the yard?
If the listing says "$X Whole X Yard" in the title, that means you are purchasing the amount said in the title. For example, "$45 Whole 8 Yard Cut" means you are paying $45 for 8 yards of fabric. The quantity number in the listing says how many of those cuts we have left.
If the listing does NOT say "$X Whole X Yard" it is sold by the yard. The quantity number in the listing means how many yards are left.
Do you have flannel and fleece?
Yes and yes! We have lots of great options.
What about spandex and other types of fabrics?
We are constantly adding new types of fabric. Sign up for our newsletter at SewSnip.com to be the first to know about new products!
